It all started with the vision of a young apprentice, determined to turn an opportunity into a legacy. Over 30 years ago, Zollie Carradine had an intense will to learn the construction industry inside out. Forfeiting lunch breaks during his apprenticeship, Zollie used that time to learn how to read blueprints. Three decades later, Zollie not only owns a successful construction company of his own, but he has mentored many other entrepreneurs hoping to create their own path in this industry.
Today, Ashlaur Construction is one of Chicago’s premier MBE/DBE construction companies. For 30 years, Ashlaur has performed as a Subcontractor, as well as a General Contractor on thousands of projects in the Chicagoland area.
